Newcrest Cadia Gold Mine
CT Civil installed power conduit for a new facility at Newcrest’s Cadia Gold Mine, working as a trusted contractor for Maxibor Australia. The bore passed beneath existing buildings and across a haul road with an 8m drop alongside, requiring deep entry angles and tight control through challenging, rocky terrain.

Long-distance environmental bores
Completed multiple kilometres of trenchless pipe installation for the Goulburn Murray Water project in a sensitive environmental zone near Mitiamo.
Strict frac risk controls were implemented throughout the job, with careful staging and monitoring to protect nearby ecosystems and ensure clean execution across fragile terrain.
Lachlan River Crossing
450mm pipe installed through a 600mm 270m HDD bore beneath the Lachlan River near Condobolin, NSW. Ground conditions were a loose mix of sand, gravel, silt and minimal clay, requiring careful fluid management to maintain bore stability. Completed safely, accurately and to spec as part of Maxibor’s project delivery.
